Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 3 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 8 oz sashimi-grade fish
  • 1 sheet nori
  • Wasabi and soy
  • Pickled ginger
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Toasted sesame

Method

Rinse and cook the rice, then fold through seasoned vinegar and cool.

Slice the fish cleanly with a sharp, wet knife.

Shape the rice and drape with fish, or roll with nori.

Serve with wasabi, soy, and pickled ginger.
