Avocado Garden Salad
Built around mixed greens and avocados -- the method starts by wash.

Anchored by mixed greens, avocados and cherry tomatoes, this salad dish starts by wash and comes together in about 35 minutes -- the kind of easy recipe that earns a permanent spot in the rotation.
A 35-minute cook time that's mostly hands-off simmering or roasting.
An easy, forgiving method -- hard to get wrong on a first try.
Built around mixed greens, so the flavor comes from real ingredients, not a spice packet.

Method
Wash and dry the greens and spread them in a large shallow bowl.
Scatter over the tomatoes and cucumber.
Whisk the olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper into a dressing.
Cut the avocados last so they do not brown, and lay the slices over the salad.
Drizzle with the dressing.
Scatter over the toasted seeds for crunch and serve straight away.
The step worth not rushing: Whisk the olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper into a dressing.
