Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • Fresh berries
  • Maple syrup

Method

Whisk the batter and fold in the whipped egg whites for lift.

Ladle into a hot waffle iron and cook until deeply golden.
