Ingredients

  • 2 lb fresh mussels
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 shallots, minced
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • Fresh parsley
  • Crusty bread

Method

Scrub the mussels and discard any that stay open.

Soften the shallots and garlic in butter.

Add wine and mussels, cover, and steam until they open.

Swirl in cream and parsley; serve with crusty bread.
